Implantable Contact Lens
Implantable contact lenses correct your vision the same way normal contact lenses do. The difference is that implantable contact lenses (ICL) permanently corrects vision.
An ICL (implantable contact lens) is inserted through a small incision in the cornea. The lens is positioned behind the Iris and in front of the natural lens.
ICLs provides an alternative for patients who are not LASIK candidates. The best candidate for this new procedure should be between the ages of 21 -45 and have moderate to severe myopia.
If you have been told you are not a candidate for LASIK then ICL may be right for you. Please contact our office for a free no obligation consultation to discuss your vision options.
