PRE-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

If you wear contact lenses, do not wear soft lenses for 2 weeks prior to your surgery.  If you wear hard or gas permeable lenses do not wear them 3 weeks prior to your treatment.

Please remove all eye make up before you come in for your procedure.  Plan on NOT wearing eye make up for 3 days after your treatment.

Eat a light meal at your normal mealtime the day of surgery.

Wear comfortable clothing the day of surgery.

Someone MUST drive you home the day of the procedure.  If you do not have  a driver the day of your surgery, we will have to reschedule your treatment.

As a reminder, your payment is expected the day of your surgery.  Please plan on paying for your procedure when you come in.

On the day of your procedure, we will supply you with eye drops you will use after the procedure.  Some drops and pain pills will need to be picked up by you at the pharmacy.

We may give you a prescription for medication the day after your procedure. 

PRK patients, plan on being seen 3 days after your procedure.

It is very important that you follow your post-operative instructions carefully and keep all of your follow up appointments.
